Telegram App Latest News: One the most used encrypted messaging app Telegram is going to charge pay-for service in 2021. Instant messaging app Telegram is “approaching” 500 million users and plans to generate revenue starting next year to keep the business afloat, its founder Pavel Durov said on Wednesday. He also added, “Telegram will begin to generate revenue, starting next year.”

“For most of Telegram’s history, I paid for the expenses of the company from my personal savings,” Durov said. “However, with its current growth Telegram is on track to reach billions of users and to require appropriate funding.” He also said that the free features will remain as free when they will start collection service fees.
